One more thing about Zoran.....

Zoran is king of the lightwieght battery world.

This thing just shaved a good 9 pounds off the total wieght. The battery looks like jewelry, really nice.

1.68 pounds !!!!!!!!!!!

Good point they will be amputated shortly.

I like the forum, as it gets others looking at the bike. often pointing out things I never notice.

Thanks!!

That guy Mark that asked you about battery. He is reading text for LFX09 which is smaller one we use for racing. It has less cca and will not crank bike as long as one it should be in there. It is only issue if bike does not want to start and you keep cranking until battery is dead. We don't have that problem on race bike, our bikes start easy and they are wide open most of time with charging working at full speed. If you ride in town and stop and go all the time you should run the one that is sized for bike. 1/4 pound extra weight is not issue on street bike and physical size is same as small so no reason to run small one. Racers are just to sensitive on couple ounces :)

Thanks Zoran,

I copied a link to your response and posted it on the KZ forum, Mark read this thread and is now understanding the difference.

Cool. Other ones in last posts are basically same technology as shorai except cells are different shape. I had turntech on my sv and worked good. Full Spectrum is also known good battery, so are any of this lithium technology batteries. Whatever brand they choose they should run at least LFX14 or with others that would be 8cell. 4cell are only for race bikes just like LFX09 or 07 is (except dirt bikes which use smaller batteries stock). Shorai is just newest one on market with better pricing, warranty and nicer package.
