I thought about being a rebel and riding VC and over, but then law enforcement has better things to do during this crisis than to deal with another nob out joyriding when I should be helping them out by staying home and doing what is right.

Oh well.  I might still go warm up the bikes on McCarren, just for a short ride thrill, weather permitting.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

That's not to say I wouldn't ride VC or any nearby road that was in my backyard, I just meant that any ride I'd do that was more than about 5 or 10 miles would probably make me feel a bad.

I rode Geiger up to the lookout point and back down.  I figure it's good to keep the oil in the engine moving, right?   :laughing

I do agree though that staying off the roads is a good idea for now.  Law enforcement needs to worry about keeping people safe and stocked, not radar-gunning joyriders.

went out for 220 miles today. played flatlander riding to minden, then out to fallon, north to 80,

and then back home. started out at about 47, then 51 and then maybe 53 in fallon. stayed within

5 most of the time. sure glad i've got good cold weather gear. not even a bit cold. but i did use the

heated grips, lol. going to try again tomorrow. this new bike is just made for this. fun to ride.

I'm still riding everyday, everywhere. Currently Nugget Ave is closed westbound between Pyramid and the front of the Nugget Casino, only access is from the eastbound off ramp. The city of Sparks has set up tall cones to separate the east and westbound lanes, they are spaced evenly apart. I can do 30 mph weaves for a half mile. Today, I blow a stop sign after the exit(what is the purpose of stopping if it's currently  one way traffic and the other streets are closed). As I continue to do my inline weave, crossing over the double yellow center line on each weave, I noticed a Sparks Police suv parked on the side of the closed lane. I turned my head and looked at him as I went by and just continued to weave at that point till I got to Pyramid. Then the light wouldn't change so I went thru the red light, which was legal for me to do.  The cop never moved. LOL  I was on y way to Walmart in a roundabout way.

I've been riding just to get out of the house.  :)  I don't go far or terribly fast but it's nice to enjoy the fresh air.  This week will be especially excellent for riding!   ;D
