I'm in.  Will meet in M'ville by 11:00 am.  Let me know if that is too early/late.
Will be coming up 88, since Ebbetts is closed.

M'ville had a nice little hot dog stand last year or more formal eat in is fine.

Planning on gas in Topaz.

think i will come along. going to ride the the big blue whale. have not had him out since oct
and next wk my bro is coming up from the bay area, and i need to make sure all is good. had new tires put on back then and they don't even have 10 miles on them, so i will have to take it easy, to break them in, so if you want to go zoom zoom, no problem, i WILL catch up.

Sorry you couldn't make it any further today Ps.  SS and I met up and arrived in Markleeville at the same time.  After a brief catch-up, we were off to Topaz to get fuel for his bike.  Good day with great temperatures.  We ate back in Markleeville, but not at the Cutthroat bar.  They're either closed or closed still for the season.

Saw more than a few motorcyclists.  Some were seated at a table not far away while we had lunch.  Unclear what had happened before, but one of the riders had to have their bike towed on a wrecker.   Something mechanical, if I had to guess.

I escorted SS up 88 until I had to turn off for home at Luther.  He continued on 88 towards home.  Meandered my away along the east shore of Tahoe before coasting most of the way down Mt. Rose: slow traffic that had no clue to share the road.   :P

No pictures of this ride, only moving ones.

Nice ride, good to catch up with you GM.  It did snow over the pass for about 8-10 miles.  New tires held up well with nary a slip.  Dried out quickly once out of it.
And, Monitor had pretty good grip despite the bikes roostering up dirt  :laughing

It was chilly going over Luther Pass.  I was glad to be down lower where it was warm.

One moving picture posted.

Yo Guys.  Happy to hear Monitor was Open. I assumed it would still be closed.  Very Insightful, Couldn't do a thing had my kids. We kicked it all weekend.  What a joy they are.  I'll be up next Sunday for a ride for sure.

Dragon,

I have the ride schedule made up, but have yet to upload it and make all the links.

This Sunday is Mother's Day, so I won't be riding.  The following weekend looks doubtful now too, as I might have some cleanup chores to do from my Winter sports activity.
