Title: VC truck route surface is breaking up.
Post by: GreenMachine on April 03, 2021, 08:57:36 AM
I was in denial about it, but there's no other way to paint it.  If you value your bike's paint, don't follow another rider or vehicle too closely.  And if you're in front, know that your acceleration is literally tearing the chip-seal gravel from its glued-in connection with the road.

Don't be at all surprised if you go a little offline and find the bike is sliding.

I've had some pucker moments on that road, the feeling of the gravel coming loose beneath you is really unsettling when there is a cliff next to you. 😂
