Saturday and Sunday will be pretty cool. 3 days in a roll. I might have to camp on Friday till Sunday. What a way to end the riding season. 3 day Track Day.
Planning on Sat. If SPL has time to fix my shock and the wife lets me get yet another tire from him.

I really wanna go for Friday, with this price :2cents :2cents!! What a deal! But my question is: What time will the track be hot? Noon? 9 AM? I know that Dave Moss will work on people suspension from 10 to 11AM (right?) but am a little confused on what time should we get there. Hope it is at noon cause I have a meeting on Friday morning at 8AM and would be :hbang if I had to miss the day because of that!
Track Will go hot at NOON. Dave Moss if your not in his class will set your suspension up one time. Then he'll be working with his students after that for the rest of the day. That's what I was told. I'll get a confirmation from him today. :flagSSA

12pm - 5pm, two group (A & B/C) 30 minute sessions.
That's five 30 minute sessions for a total of 150 minutes of riding. (vs seven 20 minute sessions for a total of 140 minutes in a normal 3 group full day.)
Saturday and Sunday are regular, standard SSA Track Days.
Is all this correct?
And considering all of Dub's assumptions, what time will registration and Tech Inspection start? (Forgot to ask that on my previous post...)
Sorry Dub. Track goes cold at 6 p.m. So that adds another 30 minutes to your riding. And yes you are correct.
JP Registration and Tech should open around 10:00 That should give everyone time to get it together.

Last weekend was my first time on the track, it was amazing and I gotta go again before season closes so I'll be there for one of these days!

This is why I stick to group rides. The only one who cancels my rides would be Mother Nature. :rainday

That's a terrible reason not to ride the track. Cancellations are extremely rare and almost always out of the providers control. I know that if Jerome had any way to make it happen he would have. SSA will have a weekend on the 22nd and 23rd. It's only two more weeks to wait.
So when do we get a refund?
I think Jerome is working on that. Bad timing, as not only John Wood did not give Jerome adequate warning time to cancel the event, but he is also traveling and probably no access to a computer.
Wow, that's bad.... Well, i can not go anyway.... I'd love to race at TTP event...

The cancellation of the SSA days really is something that Jerome needs to explain so we will have to wait until he gets back to do it. The whole thing happened just as Jerome was leaving on vacation so he never got a chance to adequately address some issues.
But since it WAS canceled, RFRT called the other group and offered them the dates (short story), therefore, it 'fell in their laps'. RFRT could have offered the dates to the car groups, but from my understanding, since it was already a motorcycle weekend, and riders had already scheduled to be there, they would keep it motorcycle. There are some 'other opinions' on this matter floating around, but this is the story in a nutshell.
The thing is, THIS weekend event is a temporary thing, and once Jerome has a chance to meet with the track upon his return, I am confident the SSA will be able to hold all it's future events. So I don't think anyone is trying to keep any secrets, but with Jerome drinking margarita's and enjoying the beaches in Mexico, not much can really be said "officially".

Hey guys. Thanks for all the understanding for why I haven't posted all week. Just trying to recover from vacation.
This situation really sucks. :rant I don't like it one bit. :hbang But things have happened that are not all my control. I'll have a general meeting in a few weeks. I'll announce it when Alberto gets back from Japan. There are some things I have to let you all know about. So just be cool. You'll get the whole story then. Until then I do apologize for all the inconvenience all this has caused anyone. Posting up out dates are canceled is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do.
Thanks again for all your understanding of me being out of the country. What a terrible time to announce a vacation. Regina wanted to go to Mexico for her birthday. sucks! :( i know what happened, and i know why it happened... really, it's nothing that jerome did bad or anything...just happened to be one of those circumstances where there HAS to be a fall-guy...unfortunately, it's jerome.
anyways, there's STILL gonna be motorbike trackdays this weekend with SBK775. we're all friends here (or at least should be), so i'll be seeing you guys this weekend! even though i still have a broken wrist, Dr Quinn, medicine woman (and by that, i mean ME) has cleared me to ride. *giggles* i'll have the gixxer with me this weekend.
