Title: Lap Timers
Post by: trent on October 28, 2008, 08:08:49 AM
Anyone know of a good lap timer at a reasonable price. These are all new to me so any suggestions would help out.

As you should know, good and cheap don't go together so to get a good lap timer your going to have to pay more than the cheap ones cost. I know of 2 good ones.

Here
http://www.aimsports.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28 (http://www.aimsports.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=28)

And here
http://www.cc-2000.com/xtracing/en/ultra-lap/index.html (http://www.cc-2000.com/xtracing/en/ultra-lap/index.html)

I have the XT Ultra and it has worked great for 3 years now and still going. And it is the cheaper one, but it's still $200.

$99 XT Racing MiniLap has usually worked great when there has been a beacon. But it started acting up because its battery terminals had broken, which they repaired under warranty.

Kool A-Diggity. If we use his girlfriend the Track days will have to go to $250.00 per person. We need a lap timer. I wonder if she does lap dances to?

Lap times, Lap Dances, must we women do it all for you boys !!! My vote goes to weavefish as I think he may have found that winter job he wanted  :-* ! Where is the line forming, I want to be sure to send all the "younger" women your way!
Its about time someone did something for us women riders  ::) we need entertainment too  ;)
I think Justino would be a good candidate for that as well, I recall a dance from a movie he loves, that boy can move! (miss ya buddy)

It's not what he's missing that bothers me as much as the extra components he has.
Just like my Ikea bookshelf (extra parts post-assembly)

I think this is the only place that my thread that started out about "lap Timers" could end up about Weavefish's Extra parts or lack there of... LOL   ;D ;D :D

Don't stop after the winter!....continue with the dances at bike nights over the summer, it should attract more lady riders.
