To increase our exposure to the community I would like to propose we change our current Tuesday Bike Night to Wednesday and make it part of PJ's Bike Night.  We'll still maintain our SSA identity, while taking advantage of a venue tailored towards riders and motorcycles.  PJ's also has food and drink specials, which can only promote more riders to come out and share our common enthusiasm with a broader scope of local area riders.

We can start immediately, but I'd like input on this.  If the majority finds this appealing, the next step will be spreading the word of our new night and location.

I'll keep the site up to date on the outcome.

I like it, I have been to the bike night at PJ's in the past, and really like the atmosphere.

Unless of course you waant to move it to Fernley?

To make this a little more interesting, each of you can vote up to three times, in case you want to load several options or stack all your votes into one category.

I will only cast my vote(s) if there is a tie.

I haven't made it down to Reno for a single bike night this summer, so I'm not gonna vote.
But, question: what's the deal with PJ's bike night? This is an already established weekly event?

cast a vote! Since I can't make Tuesdays, any other night and we might stand a chance of riding up together some time :)

Yes and many of the SSA riders go to it too.  It seems like a logical choice.  They just have a tiny parking lot, so not sure if people and bikes can squeeze in.

"Need a place to hang out during the week? Be sure to make it out every Wednesday night for Bike Night! Our most popular night during the week and a PJ & Company weekly tradition, we welcome anywhere from 120 to 130 bikes and offer drink specials to raise your spirits. Bring your bike or, if you don't have one, bring your friends, be prepared to squeeze in, and have a good time!"  -PJ & Company.

Has anyone actually seen 130 bikes there at one time for a bike night?

I don't know about 130 but I've seen 50 to 60 easy..

Easily that many there tonight.  Impressive!!   :thumbup It reminded me of old times hanging out at La Vecchia, only times three.  Only stayed for a few minutes and hung out with one of the SSA regulars from last season.  Mingling amongst the bikes, friends, food and drink specials.   An SSA at Bike Night at La Vecchia's with track day give-aways would be the only thing that could top it.

If you haven't been out to Wednesday Bike Night and PJ & Co., I encourage you to check it out.  I was thoroughly impressed.

So it is.

SSA Bike Night this week and unless otherwise noted, will be at our new location and new night:

PJ and Company (WWW), Wednesday night
1590 South Wells Avenue
Reno, NV 89502

Come join your fellow riding enthusiasts on Wednesday, yes Wednesday.  Finding a spot to park your bike shouldn't be a problem, but it will be crowded.  If you stop in with a car, you will find parking limited.

Hope to see you all there!!
