Today I was asked about riding one of those three wheeled Can Am Spiders at the SSA track day. I said that I had no idea and that I would find out. Anyone know what the rules about this would be? Let me know. I did say he could probably do the taste of the track if that was still going on.

I would say no as it has the wheelbase of a car and could be dangerous to the two wheeled bikes on the track. I think riding it during T.O.T would be ok though. Just my two cents.

You also need to be a licensed motorcyclist to be on the track.  some people who own those may not be licensed motorcyclists.  Not required in all states.

  It's a jet ski with wheels, so perhaps it qualifies for try the track.

That's a good one. I've haven't thought of them on a Track Day.

I would have to agree with Justino. You must have a motorcycle License. That would be the defining factor.

As for Taste of the Track Yes. I'm sure that's O. K.
