Hate seeing all the carnage. I've never seen a more violent MC crash than Stoner's. Crazy! I think I saw one of the wheels bent up as the bike was spinning.
Linked SpeedTV video at bottom.

It was pretty ugly watching Nicky just laying there
The "video" link just takes you to the pic of Spies on the ground?
Fixed. Thanks for catching that.
That was a disaster. I wonder if the track is slick for some reason?
I have no idea. I reminds me of Mulholland drive crashes (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mulholland+drive+motorcycle+crashes&oq=mulholland+drive+motorcycle&gs_l=youtube.1.1.0l3.335344.339194.0.343213.18.9.3.6.6.1.196.1049.3j6.9.0...0.0...1ac.EK9FLecZ5j4), where all the riders lose grip at the same point of the turn.
Don't know if you noticed, but on the Oroville Bridge, the surface is concrete. Every time I've entered onto that road this season I've slid making the gentle left-hander. For that matter, going the other way in the exact same area the bike slides there too and I'm neutral on the throttle. I can't say the same for any other corner anywhere else.
The only thing causing crashes on Mulholland is the camera LOL
