Yeah, skunk is bad, and cow shit is bad, the occasional deer carcass can be nasty. Luckily you quickly pass through these smells.

But I hate Hate HATE when I come up behind a truck/trailer or RV coming down a grade and the nice mountain air reeks of overheating brakes. Downshift you fool!!

I was thinking at first you were going to tell us about the summer flower aroma or the pine tree smell in the morning or camp fire smell in the evening.   Those are awesome and often missed when caged up on four wheels.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.
