We all think whatever we ride is the best brand out there, so it is pretty much useless to convert someone!
I disagree with that statement. Best bike at the moment for the money is how I feel about honda. I have absolutely no loyalty to any brand of underwear, skis, paragliding harness, stethescope, television, etc.
I do think that BMW owners feel that they ride the best brand.
And I think H-D owners feel that way, too.
At least a case can be made for the BMW.    ;)

The website didn't attach, here it is again, and unbiased review of all bikes in general.

Anyway, I think it will be great to see how BMW does with what is designed to be a real "Sportbike" against the competition!
2005 BMW K1200S (US)
2007 BMW R1200RT (Thailand)
1995 Honda VFR400 (Thailand track bike)
2007 Yamaha Fino 115cc (Moped Thailand)

I can't wait to see how it changes the market, also. The more interest manufacturers have in sportbikes the more legitimate we are and the more strength we have. BMW has given sportbikers more value (and so has the H-D with there new bike)
I don't think that Bikez.com is unbiased though.  The 2005 Harley Sportster has a 94/100 for 'fun factor' and got high marks for it's racetrack abilities.
Anyone's opinion counts, and people usually review their own bike. . .

After you spend 10 grand, you are emotionally attached to what you are reviewing.  After you spend 5K more in extras, you give it a 94/100 for 'fun factor' and high marks for it's racetrack abilities and even give it points for offroad! (the '05 sportster)

I know very few people who will admit that their Jaguar is really a piece of junk.
Denial, embarrassment, fear. That is what motivates most people.

A DRAGON

I'm excited to see someone ride a BMW sideways on the track. The costs are all relative to the people who buy them. Reno has all the major brands for sale. So Someone is buying a lot of motorcycles.
In Garage:

Aprillia RSV 1000

I will look for some good action videos of the new S1000RR, but in the meantime, here a few good ones of my bike, K1200S, which is not meant to be a full on sportbike.
0-280kph, he is really not riding it too hard either, but it gives a good idea of the performance!

And here is one almost dropping a knee and some 2 up, fast riding!
