Who is going? meeting at Starbucks in Carson? Is any reno guys meeting up in reno? at what time?
I didn't get any response from the Ebbits Pass thread.
Was thinking about going, but if going solo then I'll just leave from G'Ville.
I just finished getting my bike back together so I can ride tomorrow, so I'm down for whatever...
I am wanting to go on the Ebbitts pass ride tomorrow. I have a few friends that are interested in going too. Is the Reno meeting place Starbucks off of W Maccarran still? I hope people are still interested in this ride, cuz I would love to ride with the a group up there.

Ebbetts Pass is a south bound trip so the meet-up is Carson, but if you want to meet me at W McCarren at like 8:30-8:45 then we can ride down there together and see who shows...
Yeah for sure, Im down to meet at W Maccarran at about 8:30- 8:45 and ride down to Carson. At the starbucks location? Ill be there.
Good deal, Ill be there tomorrow.
Later,
John
I'm going for sure.. may leave the fam at home, everyone is still snoozing. I might catch you on the way to carson (will wait at side of road though Washoe Valley, by the Chocolate Factory and "tag on" or I am with Dale in Carson, either way, see you soon.
Do you guys know where the south Carson Starbucks is located?
One mile south of the Spooner (hwy 50) turn off. Turn west on Topsy Lane, at the light. Starbucks is the next turn to the left.
Weather calls for scattered T-storms up that way. I intend to go, but will turn around if appears too threatening! Grime from rain on the road takes forever to clean up! ARGH!! :)
OK, SmoothDuc and I will be at the south carson meeting point at 9:30 for wheels up.
Thanks for the ride today guys (and lady). It was beautiful day for it. It was great seeing Silke out there on her first SSA group ride. And John as well, I believe this was your first time out with us.
The weather was agreeable and the roads were nice. A few spots with rocks in the road but all in all a great day. By the was the food at the Bear Valley cafe was awesome in case anyone makes it up that way.
We gave it a good go at trying to run nvgixxer off the road but I just couldn't shake that old fart. (Just Kidding)
Thanks again everyone for making it out!!!
ditto here, minus the old fart... I would need to catch him first to attempt what you're saying,
Thanks for letting me tag along. I had a very nice time...
silke

Need to put on my "new" tires, then I should be good to go...
I have two sets of take-offs if your interested.
I have a Diablo Corsa III (dual compound) that I was using for street and a Pilot Race front I got from Dragon that I was going to use, unless you think you got something better for me...
Way to have fun with out me. Happy to hear the crew is still riding. No mishapps? Excellant job SSA Crew. ;D

Jerome? Jerome who? :D
No mishaps even for a pretty crowded pass. The only close call was a squirrel who came within 1" of death of Davep's tire ;D
We had 9 bikes all together and I think everyone gel'd together pretty darn well and I think everyone had a pretty darn good time.

I missed absolutely nothing yesterday, as perfect a day as could be. 50 years eh?? Would have never guessed.. ;) Thanks for the compliment, you're loads of fun yourself.
Thanks for the nice ride Dale, such a treat for me to ride with Guys like you that know the area. Next time I might attempt myself so I can see a bit more than blacktop and tar snakes.. sneak peak the landscape and maybe sniff a flower.
You are always welcome to do it again with Me and Karin some day...take a sack lunch and do more sight seeing and less riding. It's a very nice place to do such things :)
FYI My gf and I enjoy the sight-seeing trips as well... ;)
Wish I could have made it. Ebbits pass is a blast and the food at Bear Valley is indeed good.
Hey everyone, thanks for the awesome ride yesterday. I really look forward to a lot more, and getting some of my friends out there to ride with us. Thanks again, Ill be seeing everyone again real soon.

Wow...sounds like we might have another ride going! :)
You and your gf are always more than welcome to ride with us Putz. Maybe we can get a 'couples' ride going? two up or two bike. hmmmmm
DrummerBoy...it was nice meeting you yesterday too. Hope to see you on another SSA ride!
Yeah, yesterday wasn't exactly a sight seeing trip, was it......whew!
But, did do the sight seeing thingy this past Friday with the little lady en route to the wineries down in Murphy. Here's a snap shot of stopping and smelling the flowers, so to speak at that little lake where that dude was taking our pic as we flew through on the way back home :D
Note the "Sierrasportbike.com" sticker just below the gixxer "R"! WaaHooooo!
