Where should I ride out of Auburn?

Sunday notes:  I took Hwy 20 to Clear Lake, via Grass Valley.  Fantastic weather for it, but again chilly going past Truckee/Boreal.  In the Motherload I'd watch your speed.  You'll find spotty sand and mildly wet surfaces in shadowy places.  Keep to the advised speed and you'll have a great day.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

Wow, what a great ride! I was only able to get about half way to French meadows reservoir before I got snowed, but the rode was clean and free of sand, only an occasional rock. I hooked up with a rider from  the Sacramento crotch rockets riding group and did the ride twice. I'm gonna head up there for a couple more laps tomorrow.
