I found the dining experience there very below standard. food wasn't great and service was lousy.

Really?! wow. It wasn't were I wanted to eat last night, but the steak house was closed :( It's Casino food so didn't expect high standards, but for $6 I thought my food was passable LOL Our waitress was decent too. Well...sorry I said it was OK  :-\

They were very packed, so it was understandable.. I went outside my cheeseburger diet and tried the macho nachos.. the nachos weren't very macho, and I should have got up to refill my own Pepsi   :rant   I guess I just couldn't dig it... I do have my favorite spot in South Lake Tahoe at Harvey's Casino, in the American River Cafe... the best pretzel pastrami sandwich you've ever tried! they use that stone ground mustard, the pastrami has a great taste, and it's on pretzel bread. definitely worth trying out if your up there.. :banana2
