Not sure.  :-[

How fast do you need to be going to leave a mark on the road like the one in the last pic?  I believe that's off TB5's rear tire.

j/k
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

I'm pretty sure that mark was from my jaw dragging on the ground because we actually found some dry turns

Fixed!

:D  I reviewed the video footage taken from the two bikes.  DR on Willits and Leggett with his 800+ Lbs of rolling fury.  Don't know how he manages to throw that rig around, but he does.  Just looks funny having three sport bikes hounded by something so much larger and ill suited for cornering.

Lol, 800 lbs of rolling furry (vs fury). Sounds like a fetish porn movie title

Stayed up late playing around with our video footage.  DR's BMW gets insistent when he's 'on it.'

Already have ideas of how some of the different camera angles will play out.

Are any of you going to post pictures from the trip?

LOL.  For some reason this made me think of a scene from Jurassic Park...   I think this is DR chasing GM.  :D

Ya I've got a few good pics. I'll have to brave the dreaded photobucket site again blast time my computer seized up. You got any other websites you would recommend?

Hey guys just wanted to say I had a blast the entire time (well...there was that 6am moment in pouring rain chasing Brian's disapearing taillight through a thoroughly fogged visor into the opening turns of 299 where I nearly shit myself..)

Much thanks to GM for putting the trip together and all your fearless leadership! To Dave for packmuling my gear...dude that would have been awful on my bike! To Brian for making his constant and reliable moderation of our beerdration levels! And all of you for making me ride faster and faster haha...

I use imgur for sharing my photos with others.  You can upload multiple images into a single link, sort of like a Flickr album.  It doesn't have the features of sites like Flickr or Photobucket, but it works well for just sharing your photos.

Thanks again to GM for putting together a great ride with more turns than one can handle on a 800 LB beast. Also, a shout out to Brian and Josh for making it a fun trip that sure beats working.  Where are we going on the next trip? Better go now, packing my mule and putting on new shoes.

That's about what it was like.

You'll have to wait for the video teaser, which will only be made available after I throw together the full length Blu-ray of some unknown length.  As of now, it could be 2 hours long.

I'll take media in whatever capacity you can get it to me: E-mail, Photobucket, FTP, other Internet based method or simple flash drive/DVD/CD-ROM.

And you're all welcome.  I was much appreciative of all your company, being so flexible, easy going, for sharing lead and sweeper responsibilities, and on and on.  Not one peep of drama from anyone at any time.

So it is I that wants to thank all of you.   :thanks  You made the trip all worthwhile, with all the sights, sounds, smells, hoppy tastes, thrills and chills, it was truly an extraordinary experience.  Not to mention, it was a record setting ride:

1) 1260 miles over 3 days, by my tally and 1275 miles by DRs.  The longest combined 3 day total, ever.
2) First ever SSA ride to breach the Oregon border.
3) First ever SSA ride to go from Fort Bragg to Brookings, Oregon, and back to Arcata, CA, in one day.
4) Only the second double overnight SSA ride, ever.

I'll post the complete list of pics, not just the cherry picked ones on page three, for the 2013 SSA Memorial Day riders.  Give me a few days though to get that all coordinated. I'll send y'all PMs.
