can anyone tell me If penske shocks are pretty universal? It looks right, and I was on their site and it seems that they sell 4 or 5 different shocks but none are model specific... I got one on the 2001 zx6 I just bought and I would like to put it on my 2004 R6....

kinda hard to get in there with a tape, and the top thread has alot of room for adjusting height... hoping zoran will jump in and give his two cents, unless its not what I wanna hear! :o
Call up Traxxion Dynamics for some info. They deal with Penske http://www.traxxion.com/
It looks like the spring height is different.

It is not what you want to hear. There is total length of shock, shock travel, valving and spring rate...etc that has to match each bike.
z, Is there anything you can do to make it work? :-X
I can make it work but it may not be cost effective, it depends what all has to be changed. Need to see shock and bike it goes on.
