Performance award? We'd have to actually be exceeding the speed limit to be guilty of getting one of those. Nope, but the local CHP did do a 180 from where he was parked just to escort Jimbo and myself off of 89. Not really sure what that was all about. KKM told us the story hours later, after you continued on back home. Apparently that one or some of them don't like motorcycles.

Maybe he wanted to say hi to Jimbo, but anytime one of those vehicles comes busting up behind you, you kinda figure something's up.

Jimbo made mention at several of our stops about how BigCat was saying he's been riding slower lately and he agreed that he was doing the same. I'm probably in that category as well, after riding for a brief period with KKM & Gotcbr. Those boys don't let grass grow under 'em. I was relieved when they pulled off heading in another direction so I didn't feel compelled to keep up.

No other sighting today. Pretty quiet. Our whole day seemed pretty relaxed, from the pace to the lounging around chit-chatting and taking pictures.

Hey, I'm glad you guys had a great ride. I ended up riding on Saturday and took 49 to Auburn and on to Sac to look at some new gear. It was good to get the bird out and stretch her legs out a bit

Too many chores on Sunday to come out and play. Planning on PJ's on Wed if anyone is hungry.

Oh yeah, the Black Knight looks to be in show room condition again, even a coat of wax after the Monitor butterfly attack! Front wheel is off and ready to take in to Carson Motor Sports for a mount and balance on Tuesday. YAHOO!!
