Hwy 49 has been repaired just west of Sattley.

They put in a straight bridge which now doesn't line up well with the roadway, but not too far off.  The landslide construction 14 miles west of Downieville is also complete, so clear sailing from end to end.

I rode in from Nevada City this past weekend and they have also repaved much of the section west of Downieville.  The road beckons.

That explains why we didnt see you in VC yesterday, or anyone we knew for that matter.  Did a quick lunch run followed by a loop down six mile and back up truck route.   Roads are good condition and clean, beautiful clear day to be out.
