I had my first motorcycle when I was 14 years old. It was a CALOI 50CC BLUE 1990. I had very good times with this little machine. I miss a lot this time of my life. I confess It was the best time of my life when I had this little guy with me when I as 14 years old.

I do not have my bike pic. But down here you guys can have some idea. It was similar of this one but color blue and excellent shape. I love blue. :)

1975 Yamaha DT 175B.....ohhhhhh yea!! It was 1977 (is there not a country song about 1977?)

Bought it brand new in 1976 $799

When it started to get tired (10,000 miles) I would keep it in 5th gear at a stoplight, pull in the clutch and hold the throttle "to the pin" (wide open). Light turns green, I feather the clutch until it would get to about 20 MPH, I think it went from about 9000 RPMS to about 1000 in the time it took to get up to speed.

WWWWWAAAAAAAHHHHHHH...........clunka chunka clunka chunka  clunka chunka dunka ddaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.

WOW !! :odid I get some funny looks from the cars sitting next to me.

As with all two stroke stories it ended the same ....."and then one day it seized".

Poor little fella.

Yeah, my R6 was my first street bike. I have been riding dirt bikes for ever. My first dirt bike was a Honda trail 50......and I crashed it into an electric fence the first time I rode it in our back yard of Washoe Valley. (horse country) 100% out of control. But it taught me to use my brakes after that. Brakes work a whole lot better than feet! The Flintstones don't know s$%#! :D

Well I learned to ride, first time at the controls to anything, on a Honda Ascot VT500... It was my fathers.

XXXXL that's funny. My first was the same bike with a custom paint job. Was my only transportation for three years in Vegas. Great memories.

No, NO, No, I don't think so.  Well, do you think it counts?  Problems, right.

This is me just after turning 14 on my first streetbike, a Honda VF750F Interceptor. I had worked summers and saved a bit and my dad had agreed to loan me a match which I would pay back before I turned 16 and was legal to ride it. I had wanted a NS400R but it got sold from the Honda shop despite me licking it daily, so, four stroke it was. During those two summers I rode my CR125 more on the roads than dirt I think and snuck the 750 out when I could. Compared to the street/trail bikes and Maxim 400 type things my friends had she was a rocket.
