So what tire pressure do most people set their tires for track or street?  This is a great question on what type of tire and use.  I did't want to open a can of worms but this is a good "disscaution".

How many change there tire pressure after a trackday for street? do you use your bikes specs no matter what the tire?

I add about 5 extra pounds from trackday pressures so I don't have prematurs tire wear.  I don't know if it helps though.  It is still a bit less than stock reccomendations which are way to much.

Both the Bridgestones BT003's and the Pirelli Diable Supercorsas for me are the same. I run at 28 rear, 31 front. (hot) Your hot pressures are what matters. The cold settings are just a base recommendation. Some riders will be different than others on hot pressures because of different paces and riding styles. You should always check and set your tire pressures when the tires are hot before trusting them 100%. By hot, I mean immediately when you come off the track. (This is of course in reference to track riding)  :)

+1^^^ ;D
I always check my tire pressures right after each session.
I like my diablo superbikes at 33F and 30 R ( hot ).

Wow!!  :o :o I just check my tire pressure at the morning than I forget it. Is it not recommended?

temp goes up during the day and so it can effect your tire pressure, you should check it whenever you can. Probably at least 3 times during the day.

Higher air temp means the air particles seperate creating gerater pressure. Same reason hot and cold tire temps change the PSI. Ambient air temp effects it.
