Hi all,

Just wanted to share our trip at the end of June...we trailered the bikes down to So Cal (Orange County) with our new trailer that Allen outfitted. It worked out really well. Our first day we trailered the freeways to Chapparal (monster motorcycle shop) in San Bernardino where they let us park the truck in their parking lot while we covered the San Bernardino mountain range. It was a great day...a nice ride if you get a chance...up Waterman to Hwy 18, across the mountains to Running Springs and 22 corners (someone counted once) to the beautiful Artic Circle (with its view of my hometown, Big Bear Lake). We stopped in Big Bear for awhile and then headed down Hwy 38. This is a much less traveled and clear road with few if any cops. Allen enjoyed this the most. It was about 120 miles round trip with lots of views (better without smog), twists and turns.

The next day, we headed for PCH and cruised from Newport Beach's Balboa Island to Long Beach and the Queen Mary. There was a little more traffic and city driving then we would have liked, but enough ocean views to make up for it.

All in all it was a great trip!!!
