I'll be tending the Nevada Rider Motorcycle Safety Program booth inside the Reno Ballroom Wed and Thursday evening, stop by and say hi if you head downtown. As I do at every SV event, I will be embarrassing our local motor units again during the slow bike race, prime time Friday night at 7:45 underneath the Reno Arch. Everyone is invited to participate with their bike or watch.
Go get 'em!
Vr,
I didn't have a chance to go down to see how you did. Was this year another banner year for you?

Underestimated my competition, lost to a Harley. I will be doing it again at 7:45 tonight. RPD only wants to race me using no brakes, I hesitated and finally agreed so maybe it will be a go at 7:45.
The King is Dead! No matter. You'll get 'em next time. Competition is always good for keeping you training harder for the next time.
Hope you go 1 - 2 and beat RPD.
Well here's the video. We agreed clutch only, no brakes. Wondering why he activated his LED's and strobes once we got rolling. All those flashing lights makes it impossible to detect his brake lights. Using your brakes is an automatic disqualification under this special run. Hmmm

Yeah, that was BS, but I could see you taking him in 2 out of 3.
Looked like your competition was on a BMW if that makes you feel any better! Always good to give the underdog a win occasionally.
Discovered that the cop can deactivate the brake lights for stealth mode. I wasn't suppose to know that but was informed by one of the motor officers. I had him the whole way and he was pulling away until we reached the last 10-15 ft and he really slowed down, and I went on by.
What do you think the percentages are on that?
Wow, that was quite a crowd.
