SSA Track Day Saturday July 26th, 27th - 2008

Where: Reno Fernley Raceway (RFR)
When: SATURDAY - July 26th, 27th
Cost:
$125 per day if you sign up before July 20th
$160 per day after July 20th.
Refunds:
Refunds will be given up to 14 days prior to the event. There will be NO refunds after July 13th, no exceptions!
Groups/ Skill Levels: A = Advanced - Racer Level, B = Intermediate - Fairly Fast, C = Novice - First Time, Slower Group.
When: Sunday June 8th, 2008
7:30am - 8:30am Tech Inspection
8:30am MANDATORY - Rider Safety Meeting!
9:00am Sessions start - A group first, then B group, then C group
Requirements: You should read this now because there will be no exceptions! (any questions email Jerome)
License:
You must have a valid drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement.
Medical Insurance:
You need to have your own coverage under a Medical Insurance Plan. The SSA & RFR do NOT provide medical insurace.
In the event of an accident you will be fully responsible for all medical cost, medical transportation cost, medical insurance cost, all insurance cost of any kind, any and all financial expenses you may aquire that are not listed here.
Proper riding gear:
- uncrashed DOT helmet
- one-piece or zip-together leather riding suit (or Aerostitch™ or equivalent)1
- motorcycle-specific boots
- motorcycle-specific gloves
- Back protector is strongly recommended
- Ear plugs are also recommended (we have free ones for you)
- "Sparking" knee pucks are NOT allowed (they start fires and startle riders who think you're crashing)
Bike must pass a technical inspection. Excellent tires (near new), no leaks, good brakes, proper chain slack, etc.
Prepared bike:
- remove or tape mirrors
- disconnect brake light, or remove bulbs/fuse, or completely tape brake light lens (no bleed-through!)
- Bike must be deemed safe for the track. SSA acting tech person has the right to not allow any bike deemed unsafe from participating untill the safety issue is corrected. Just use you head and show up with a decent safe bike and you'll be fine. No refunds for bikes that cannot pass tech, any questions email Jerome before the track day.

Sign waivers:
Both the racetrack's RFR waiver and the SSA one. You will not be allowed to ride unless you agree to the terms and sign the waiver. You can print, read, sign, and present it to the registration desk to speed up things; but we always have extras at the track.
* You Must Be 18yrs. old to participate!
