I had this thought a while ago, but a recent comment in a topic brought it back up. Alberto's restaurant has been tagged before and I'm sure it’s not helping his business. He has helped us out so much in the past, hosting bike night and helping people on rides, what if a few of us got together an helped paint over the graffiti on the restaurant, give back a little bit. I'm sure it would be relatively easy with a few of us out there. Any thoughts?

I find my self taking a drive by there frequently looking for taggers. I's just as easy to drive by and erase what they have done. The problem is that is happening on brick. (multicolored brick) how do we correct that?

One of the better ways to protect brick is to prepare it with an anti-graffiti coating. It's a urethane coating that I've seen used on rock exteriors to positive affect. It causes the exterior to take on a glossy clearcoat appearance and makes it more difficult for spraypaint to cure to the surface. |
